Traffic Accidents Kill 7 People and Injure 590 in 570 Accidents in November

Ramallah -The General Directorate of Police - seven people were killed and 10 were injured in 590 traffic accident across the West Bank in November, according to a statement of Police’ Public Relations and Media department released Thursday.

Traffic Police Department, according to the statement, documented 590 traffic accidents killing seven people and injuring 525 of whom 10 sustained serious injuries, 55 moderate, and 460 sustained minor injuries.

The statement pointed out that the traffic police carried out field safety inspection and examined last month 14293 vehicles and seized 1136 vehicles lacked to public safety conditions, and wrote 9195 traffic reports, and seized 726 vehicles to ensure its legality and destroyed 460 illegal vehicles.

The statement called the road users to adhere the traffic laws and signals for the interests of their lives, and called on drivers to drive at a moderate speed and avoid the use of brake suddenly.
