Deputy Chief of Police,Jihad Al-Msaimi meets with the Chief of the Management Board of GIZ.

27th Jan.2015 (Jericho)— Brigadir General Jihad Al- Msaimi, Deputy Chief of Police, met today morning Tanja Goenner, chief of the management Board of GIZ in Palestine college for Police's sciences.

Police's Publice Relations and Media department reported In a statement that" brigadier general, Al-Msaimi welcomed Mrs Joenner, and presented her an explanation about the Palestinian Police in general, especially in light of the current situation. He also explained the complexities all Palestinians face each day, in addition to the division of the West Bank into A,B,C areas .

He spoke about the police strategies to improve new ways to reach all citizens everywhere, and provide them of police services.

 Al-Msaimi commended on the German contribution and what Germany afford of training , professional and technical consulting, in many police's fields in addition to create a modern police stations. He stressed that everything Germany do for Palestine at all levels contributes in the Palestinian state-building and empowerment of its institutions.   

For her part, Goenner confirmed to continue in helping to overcome the complexities and difficulties to reach the Palestinian state, and pointed out  that the field work  have an influence in the Palestinian police to the lack of a political solution, in addition to the obstacles police faced daily in the light of the geographic divisions, she expressed her  confidence in the Palestinian police's ability to work in difficult conditions and continue to provide security services.

A number of German and Palestinian police officers attended the meeting.

At the end of the visit, Brigadier Al-Masimi exchanged gifts with Goennr.
