Bethlehem -Police today signed a partnership agreement with the chief of police of the Italian state Pozzuoli, which was held in the Hall of Bethlehem Municipality in the presence of many of the legal personalities and the men of the Islamic and Christian religion in the governorate.
Police’s Public Relations and Media department reported in a statement, that the meeting was held in the presence of Brigadier Ramadan Awad, , Colonel Alaa’ Shalabi the director of Bethlehem police Directorate, and a delegation from the state of Pozzuoli police representative of the Italian police. This meeting was held to sign a partnership agreement with Bethlehem police , which includes the exchange of experiences and to provide logistical and financial support for elements of the police forces in the governorate .
where the meeting was held the hall of Bethlehem Municipality in the presence of Major General Jibreen al-Bakri Bethlehem governor, and Maj. Gen. Ismail Faraj head of military justice, Mr. Issam Juha deputy mayor of Bethlehem and Mr. Mohammed the Al masri, and the leaders of the security bodies, and representatives from government and private institutions and officers from Bethlehem police.
For his part, Brigadier Awad welcomed the delegation on behalf of Major General Mr. Hazem Atallah the chief of the Palestinian Police. Confirmed on the importance of communication and cooperation between the Palestinian police and Italian police in order to exchange experiences in terms of the depth of the historical relationship between the two countries, expressing the pride of the Palestinian police of this agreement which would exchange the attitudes and trainings , scientific and cultural ideas that are for the interests of both countries.
For his part, Colonel Carlo Pubblico the police chief of Pozzuoli state in Italy,confirmed on the importance of this partnership between Italian police and the Palestinian police, especially that it was signed in the city of peace and birthplace of Jesus, adding that Bethlehem police are not alone where they will make their best to stay to the side of the police of Jesus city ,and that this partnership signed in order to present progress and development in work and to exchange experiences for both parties.
The statement added, at the end of the meeting,Colonel Alaa Shalabi Bethlehem police chief signed a twinning agreement side by side with the Colonel Carlo pubblico, chief of police in pozzuoli state in Italy.
