Traffic Accidents kill 12 and Injure 12 people last week in the West Bank

Ramallah -The General Directorate of Police – 12 were killed and 12 were injured  in 901 traffic accidents across the West Bank in the last week, according to a statement Police’ Public Relations and Media department released yesterday.

Traffic Police Department, according to the statement, documented 780 traffic accidents, which 12 were killed and 12 injured, of whom 12 sustained serious injuries, 60 moderate, and 708 sustained minor injuries.
The statement pointed out that the traffic police  examined last week 16764 vehicles and seized 452 vehicles lacked to public safety conditions, and wrote 9707 traffic reports, and seized 697 vehicles to ensure its legality and destroyed  678 illegal vehicles.

The statement called the road users to adhere the traffic laws and signals for the interests of their lives.
