H.E Major General Hazem Attallah Meets UN Secretary General In Ramallah

Ramallah- H. E Major General Hazem Attallah Chief of Palestinian Civil Police meets the UN secretary General Antonio Guterres and his accompanying delegation in addition to the Palestinian representative in the UN Dr. Riad Mansour during their visit to the One Stop Center at the Family and Juvenile protection unit.

Police’s Public Relations and Media department reported in a statement that, Major. G Hazem Atallah welcomed Mr. Guterres and conveyed the greetings of Mr. President Mahmoud Abbas , and briefed him about the achievements of the Palestinian civil police, in addition to the development of logistic and human recourses which came with the support of the UN and UNDP.


The One Stop Centre that was recently set up in Ramallah as part of a  joint program “Promoting the rule of law in the occupied Palestine territory” or Sawasya, as it’s locally called which provides guidance, health, police and legal services was one of the achievements of the Palestinian civil police.”Hazem Attallah said”


The Meeting Between M.J Hazem Attallah and the UN Secretary General includes a tour in the center’s sections . The meeting also attended by Nikolay Mladenov Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, Jenfif Boten the special representative from the Unicef and Mr.Jamesran From the UN women.


At the end of the meeting, Secretary-General Antonio Gétres expressed his happiness during his presence in Palestine, praising the achievements of the Palestinian government and the Palestinian civil police in particular, which has a positive impact on the citizens, also he reaffirmed that the UN will continue to contribute all the available recourses to develop the police services.
