Ramallah -The General Directorate of Police – 1 person was killed and 222 were injured in 191 traffic accidents across the West Bank in the last week, according to a statement Police’ Public Relations and Media department released today morning.
Traffic Police Department, according to the statement, documented 191 traffic accidents killing 1 and injuring 222 of whom 4 sustained serious injuries, 5 moderate, and 213 sustained minor injuries.
The statement pointed out that the traffic police examined last week 5202 vehicles and seized 106 vehicles lacked to public safety conditions, and wrote 4253 traffic reports, and seized 199 vehicles to ensure its legality and destroyed 109 illegal vehicles.
