EUPOL COPPS and Palestinian Traffic Police delegation participate in Road Safety Conference in Manchester

Manchester, October 1st, 2014 – A joint delegation of EUPOL COPPS, the Palestinian Traffic Police participated in Manchester in the Road safety for Europe Conference which was organized by the European Traffic Police Network (TISPOL). During the two-day conference, the participants received information about the latest thinking and developments in road safety and enforcement from across Europe. More specifically, the most updated theories and procedures concerning post-crash response and serious injuries were described, as well as new thinking on older drivers and health or the new methods of measuring driver fatigue in the field. The participants attended an exhibition presenting a selection of road safety and enforcement products, the exhibitors offering assistance and advice regarding the latest innovations in this field. Palestinian Traffic Police representatives explained they have gained valuable information and knowledge during the two-day conference.
